My youngest son is an aspiring pianist. He sits with his piano teacher at the piano and I thought a 2 person piano bench would be perfect.
Frame and legs from jatoba flooring boards with an ash inlay on the top. Top is hinged for a sheet music compartment. Finished with 4 coats of danish oil sanding with 400 between each coat.
Jatoba finishes very nicely.
Legs are tapered on the 2 outside planes, inside are straight.

I had to cut the ash piece twice to get it to fit as the hole wasn't quite square...
2x floating tenons for each leg to apron joint. Very stable.
